West Roofing Systems, a commercial roofing company, is looking for driven candidates to join our team as seasonal workers for our Production and Service crews.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform demolition, roofing and other construction tasks
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types
  • Clean and prepare job sites and clear work areas
  • Carry construction materials
  • Load and unload equipment
  • Erect and dismantle temporary safety barricades, walls, cones, tape, fences, and other safety equipment
  • Clean up waste and debris
  • Help promote the safety culture of the company
  • Work as a team with other laborers, foreman, project managers, and subcontractors
  • Report to work on times set by supervisors
  • Perform all duties efficiently and effectively and in a workmanlike manner
  • Perform other labor-oriented tasks not otherwise stated above
  • Must be able to travel and be out of town for short periods of time



The Maintenance Technician is responsible for overseeing the commercial roofing maintenance operation, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work, as well as, other duties as necessary to continually support and improve commercial roofing operations.  The Maintenance Technician must have experience and be able to demonstrate proficiency in commercial roofing construction and maintenance of all roofing systems.  In addition, the position will also be responsible for assisting the Service Director with organizing, scheduling, monitoring and assigning workload activities to the maintenance crew, to ensure optimum productivity and safety compliance.  The Technician sets an example for the department and is directly involved with leading a crew of Maintenance Technicians.


Essential Accountability

  • Monitors and assigns the daily workload activities
  • Troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on roofs and roofing equipment
  • Operates all powered industrial equipment including, forklifts and boom lifts
  • Cross trains and assists team members within the department to develop skills and knowledge
  • Communicates and partners with leadership to ensure the efficiency of processes and workflow
  • Communicates and partners with outside vendors and contractors, while ensuring compliance
  • Complies with all maintenance safety, environmental, and health policies and procedures
  • Successful completion of The OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training Course
  • Assists Maintenance Manager with start of shift meetings
  • Performs maintenance tasks
  • Assist in special projects and performs other duties as assigned



  • High school diploma and/or vocational school diploma
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience with preventative maintenance and repair work of all roofing systems and equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders to access roofs
  • Ability to interpret manuals, schematics and blueprints
  • Ability to use electronic devices (ie: I-Pad, tablet, smart phone, etc.)
  • Knowledge of all occupational hazards and safety precautions including: Bloodborne pathogens, SDS and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Ability to manage tasks, priorities and the direction of the team

West Roofing Systems is looking for an experienced, highly motivated individual for our Single-Ply Membrane Foreman position.


Qualities desired include, but are not limited to:

  • Erect and dismantle temporary safety barricades, walls, cones, tape, fences, and other safety equipment
  • Must be able to travel and be out of town for a short period of time
  • Motivation to uphold the Safety Culture the company has created along with the ability to report to work on time consistently
  • Mobility and strength to work in a typical construction site setting
  • The mindset to work as part of a team, with laborers, foreman, and supervisors daily, and
  • Prior construction and/or roofing experience
  • Capable of performing a roof takeoff and procuring the required materials to complete the task at hand
  • Estimating experience is preferred
