LaGrange, Ohio (March 22, 2018) – West Roofing Systems, Inc., award-winning Cleveland, Ohio commercial roofing contractor announced that it has acquired Foam Applications Inc., a spray polyurethane foam roof contractor out of Huntsville, Alabama. The purchase will better serve the needs of West Roofing Systems and Foam Applications customers in the Southeast region of the United States.

Foam Applications, Inc. was established in 1971 and run by Will and Bill Simpson. The company was founded after Will Simpson as a NASA engineer developed foaming techniques used on Apollo, Saturn, and other NASA shuttle projects. Since then, Foam Applications, Inc. has installed several million square feet of foam roofing over a variety of existing substrates for commercial and industrial facilities.
The company will transition during a 6-month period and will be known as West Roofing Systems, Inc. with a goal to maintain the superior services offered to current and future customers while increasing the service offerings to the area with the West Roofing Systems team.

West Roofing Systems has recently received the National Industry Excellence Award for a project located in Birmingham, Alabama. The commercial roof restoration of the Colonnade Towers took place in 2017 leading to the company receiving first place in the Elastomeric Coating category.
